It's coming up to the first anniversary of our Mum passing and it has got me thinking - what do others do in memory of their loved one/s? Small or big, I'd love to hear!
We had a jar with little heart card at Mum's memorial, and asked people to pop their memories in the jar. We'll get together as a family and read them together on her anniversary - boy am I looking forward to reading some from her friends! (I think I'll need to read these first to make sure they are child friendly!!)

Hi Sally,
When my friend Lynne passed away about a week after her funeral, some of the support workers that couldn't attend her service (due to covid restrictions) and myself went to the local RSL (which Lynne had been to). We all ordered chicken parmas as this was one of her favourite meals. On the day of her birthday her daughter and I went to a Chinese restaurant and ordered beef in black bean sauce. (another favourite)
Sending loving energy to you and all your family as you share those precious memories of your mum. Take care
The other thing that I did in memory of my friend Lynne was to get 2 tattoos done. I spent time thinking about them first and asked for people's opinions as well. I got a blue ribbon with her name, HD and Hope all in white on the ribbon and had it done on my forearm. On the other are I got a yellow rose with the date Lynne was born and died. Lynne loved yellow roses as she saw them as a healing rose.
